I decided to scrap my first photo I had taken with my hair short and also added some Gesso, which is the first bottle I got with this kit...totally love that medium and will be seeing it more on my projects!

A little Basic Grey

I really loved this photo of my Godchild Tessa and I at her Mom's wedding, that I knew I had to scrap it...

I came across this sketch over at the Basic Grey blog, and knew it would be just perfect for this photo.

I raided my stash and was only able to come across this stash I had, a little outdated, but still very versatile for this LO, and I am very pleased with the end result.

A little Echo Park fun...

I got a little creative yesterday, and decided to play with some Echo Park I purchased from Sharon at Hobby Hut yesterday...you should pop in, her new style Scrapbook shop is starting to take great shape.

My LO is based on a sketch challenge over at Citrus Twist.

This photo speaks volumes to me of how fast Amy is growing up into a beautiful little young lady. It was a photo I took at a very good friend's wedding in December, which I love loads.

Quiche Recipe Anyone...

I had a few interested parties asking me to share my recipe of the quiche I made for dinner tonight, it really is very simple and you can substitute your fillings too...makes for a quick, easy and delicious meal. I found this recipe on the net a while back, so not really my own, but have adapted it to make it my own...!

Servings Per Recipe: 6
Prep time: 15 min. Cook time: 45 min. Total: 1 hr.

 INGREDIENTS
 Half / full punnet
sliced fresh mushrooms
 Packet
chopped bacon
 as you need
sliced olives
 1/2 tsp
crushed garlic
 as needed
non-stick spray
 4 large
eggs
 1 cup
milk
 Crumbed bits
feta cheese
 1/2 cup
shredded mozzarella
 to taste
salt & pepper

STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Cook the sliced/chopped bacon bits and keep to the side.

STEP 2: Quickly rinse the mushrooms and slice them thinly. Place the sliced mushrooms in a pan coated with non-stick spray, add the minced garlic, and sprinkle a little salt and pepper. Turn the heat on to medium-high and saute the mushrooms until they release all of their moisture and no more water remains on the bottom of the pan (5-7 minutes).

STEP 3: Spray a pie dish with non-stick spray. Add your cooked bacon and mushrooms and spread it out on the bottom of the pie dish. Next add the crumbled feta.

STEP 4: In a medium bowl whisk together the eggs until fairly smooth. Add the milk, and another small sprinkle of pepper. Whisk to combine. (This step can be completed while the mushrooms are cooking) Pour this mixture into the pie dish over the Bacon, mushrooms, and feta.

STEP 5: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over top. Place the pie dish on a baking sheet for easy transfer into the oven. Place the quiche into the preheated oven and bake until it is golden brown on top and the center is solid. Every oven is different but this should take between 45 minutes and an hour. Slice and serve!
